Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

PT. Adicita Karya Inovatif (“AudioSnap,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and protect your information when you use the AudioSnap mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of data:

  • Account Information: name, email address, login credentials.
  • User Content: audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, and metadata.
  • Usage Data: device information, IP address, app activity logs.
  • Payment Information: All subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple App Store (on iOS) or Google Play Billing (on Android). AudioSnap does not receive, handle, or store your payment card or account details. For billing questions, refunds, or payment method changes, contact Apple or Google directly through your device's account settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service
  • Generate automatic transcripts and summaries from your recordings
  • Maintain account functionality
  • Improve performance and security
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your User Content to train AI models.

4. Automatic Processing of Recordings

To deliver transcription and summarization features, AudioSnap uses third-party AI service providers as data processors. These providers are bound by data processing agreements that prohibit them from using your User Content to train AI models or for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.

Audio and transcripts are encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not manually review recordings except when required for technical support or legal compliance. AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies and should be independently verified before relying on them.

We may change AI service providers from time to time without notice, provided that any new provider is bound by equivalent or stricter data protection commitments.

5. Data Storage and Security

User data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with appropriate physical and technical safeguards. Specific infrastructure details are available to enterprise customers and regulators on legitimate request.

All recordings and transcripts are encrypted at rest using server-side encryption and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.

While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, no system is completely secure. We make no guarantees of absolute security and recommend that users not record content for which the consequences of any unauthorized access would be severe (see Sensitive Data Disclaimer in our Terms of Use).

6. Sharing of Information

We may share data with:

  • Authorized service providers (cloud hosting, AI processing, customer support tools)
  • App store payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play Billing)
  • Legal authorities where required by law

We do not share personal data for advertising or resale purposes.

Users may generate shareable links to recordings, transcripts, or summaries. Shared links expire automatically after seven (7) days.

Users may revoke links at any time, which immediately disables future access. For sensitive content, users may require recipients to enter a one-time password sent to a recipient email address before the recipient can access the link.

Once a link recipient has accessed and downloaded shared content, copies in the recipient's control are outside our reach. We recommend users only share content with trusted recipients.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Users may delete recordings at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent from our active systems. We do not maintain backup copies.

Upon account deletion, all recordings, transcripts, and associated metadata are permanently removed. Users who cancel a paid subscription retain access to their previously created content unless they explicitly request account or content deletion.

Security and fraud-prevention logs may be retained as required by law.

9. International Data Transfers

AudioSnap operates internationally and serves global users. Some processing of User Content, including transcription and summarization, may be performed by service providers located in jurisdictions other than the User's country of residence.

By using the Service, you consent to the processing and storage of your data in any jurisdiction in which we or our service providers operate, and to the cross-border data transfers necessary to operate the Service. We require all service providers to maintain appropriate data protection standards regardless of their location.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of data
  • Object to certain processing activities
  • Request a list of our current sub-processors

To exercise any of these rights, contact support@audiosnap.ai. We aim to respond to verified requests within 30 days.

11. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach requiring notification under applicable law, we will notify affected users as required by the relevant regulation.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

Users between 13 and 17 must obtain parental or legal guardian consent prior to using the Service. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates third-party providers (cloud hosting, AI service providers, payment processors). We select providers that maintain appropriate data protection standards and are bound by data processing agreements.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that operate independently of AudioSnap.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the Service, applicable law, or our internal practices. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this document.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email to registered users.

15. Corporate Restructuring

AudioSnap may, from time to time, transfer operations between affiliated entities, including transferring the operating entity to a different jurisdiction. In the event of such a transfer, the assumed obligations of the transferring entity under this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to the receiving entity, and Users will be notified of the change in advance.

Such transfers do not change Users' rights under this Privacy Policy or applicable data protection law.
