4. AI Processing
- AudioSnap uses OpenAI as a data processor to generate transcripts and summaries.
- User Content is not used to train AI models.
- Audio and transcripts are encrypted at rest and in transit.
- We do not manually review recordings except when required for technical support or legal compliance.
5. Data Storage and Security
User data is stored on AWS infrastructure located in Indonesia. All recordings and transcripts are encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption. While we implement commercially reasonable safeguards, no system is completely secure.
6. Sharing of Information
We may share data with:
- Authorized service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, AI processing)
- Payment processors
- Legal authorities where required by law
We do not share personal data for advertising or resale purposes.
7. Data Retention
- Users may delete recordings at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- Upon account deletion, recordings, transcripts, and associated metadata are permanently removed.
- Security and fraud-prevention logs may be retained as required by law.
- Inactive accounts are not automatically deleted.
8. International Data Transfers
AudioSnap operates from Indonesia but serves global users. By using the Service, you consent to processing and storage of your data in Indonesia and to necessary cross-border data transfers.
